Subject: How to do backend lotusscript export of all fields to plain text file?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Not applicable

Hi! I need to export Notes documents (en masse) to text files via back end LotusScript. All the viable options I've found have been for UI methods, and since this is going to be a migration tool that will be running in the back end on a database, I need to select all visible text on the Notes document (yeah, not in the UI, but that is what they're asking for if possible) and export that to plain text. The script will not know the names of any of the fields and it doesn't matter - we simply need to get the text of each document that can be seen into a text file (*.txt).

I have done loads of exports of various types from the UI, or to Excel using backend scripts, but I've never tried to copy all visible text in a background agent before. Can it be done? I absolutely cannot use any UI methods.

We are looking at tools, but I have been asked to try this. I have scoured the forums and Help but haven't find anything I can use. Please advise. Thank you!!
